Pressure rollers hold the veneer down flat, while side pressure properly aligns the edges to be glued. Making for an even veneer bundle prior to the veneer moving forward and through the glue applicators.

- The pressure can be adjusted based on the characteristics of the veneer.
- The glue rollers are constantly oscillating. This aids in applying glue to edges that may not be perfect. The oscillation can make up for the gap, if it is not very large.
