An educational tool for students, employees and clients detailing wood veneer manufacturing and secondary processing. Brought to you by the Canadian Hardwood Veneer and Plywood Association, this presentation takes you from the tree to finished plywood. We begin with cooking the logs, then on to rotary, vertical and half round veneer production followed by a grading line. Moving along we visit veneer jointing, splicer glue application, crossfeed splicing, prepress and hot press. Finally, double sided trimming and finished plywood ready to ship.
